The Fundación Haciendas del Mundo Maya is dedicated to generating socioeconomic development opportunities in the Yucatan Peninsula, with the active participation of the community inhabitants as protagonists of their own social welfare projects. It implements economic and social development projects framed within the Comprehensive Community Development Program, promotes the dissemination, promotion, and preservation of Mayan natural and cultural wealth, and establishes the foundation for creating micro-regional development hubs. This foundation drives strategies to strengthen the capacities and skills of the inhabitants of these communities, including the commercial platforms of Taller Maya and Traspatio Maya.

Paralelo 19 is a company formed by a group of renowned Mexican entrepreneurs with extensive experience in the development, design, construction, and operation of major tourism projects, including hotels, golf courses, and various tourism-related properties in Mexico. TALLER MAYA & TRASPATIO MAYA

Taller Maya is a collective Mexican design brand formed by a multidisciplinary creative team that collaborates with artisanal social enterprises established in the Yucatan Peninsula to promote the development of their communities. It was founded in 2002 in response to an initiative to recover traditional Mayan techniques through a training program led by the Fundación Haciendas del Mundo Maya (FHMM), which resulted in community self-management and business management projects. Traspatio Maya is a brand representing a network of rural producers established in the Yucatan Peninsula, dedicated to the sustainable production of salts, honeys, corn, and vegetables. It serves as a platform for accessing a fair-trade network, thanks to the various food procurement projects promoted by Fundación Haciendas del Mundo Maya (FHMM) that foster self-management and empowerment of the producers in this region. The artisanal food products available at Traspatio Maya have a triple impact on social, economic, and environmental levels, ensuring equitable labor and trade conditions and sustainable management that protects the natural and cultural resources of the peninsula.
